Pre-checks

Before you start the ingestion process, make sure you have read through preparing your audio and preparing your metadata to make sure your audio has been uploaded to the right place pre-ingestion to the system and that your CSV metadata is formatted correctly.

Ingesting a CSV file

• Log in to the admin panel

• Navigate to Ingest

• Drag your CSV into the drop-area. If you don’t with any new albums to be instantly published, deselect the “publish new releases” checkbox. Find out how to publish items here. This needs to be unselected previous to dragging the CSV into the drop area.

  

  The “publish new releases” controls the visibility of any releases not previously ingested. If you don’t want your new releases visible for now, uncheck the checkbox.

Track states

• Available — successfully ingested audio 🎉
• Queued — awaiting audio transcoding
• No file (triangle) — not found on Dropbox
• No file (circle) — not found on Dropbox (but was transcoded previously)
